I received another interesting email from my friend Patrick and rather than re-type what he wrote, I thought I would just copy and paste it as a hope that maybe someone has an idea how to fix this problem. If you know how to fix this, please shoot me an email or leave a comment and I’ll get in touch with him, Thanks
I thought I’d keep you informed about the issues I’m having with my 3Gs. At the moment, it’s not currently working.

Now as many of you know, I currently have the iPhone 1st gen and will be looking to upgrade to the 3GS come Friday. Now some of you have asked, Steve why haven’t you pre-ordered it either from Apple or AT&T. Well the reasoning is simple. Rumors have it that pre-ordering it from AT&T could result in a longer wait time then Friday the 19th. There is no guarantee you will receive it on that day. AT&T’s disclaimer says “On” or “After” the 19th. So my thoughts were to take my chances on Friday and going before 10AM EST to my local AT&T. Which is literally 10 minutes away.
