Vizio VBR220 Blu-ray Disc Player with Wireless Internet Application

posted by The Tech Buzz on Sep.07, 2010, under News

I finally have taken the plunge and have purchased a blu-ray player. Not just any bu-ray player but a Vizio VBR220 Blu-ray Disc Player with Wireless Internet Application. I purchased this at my local walmart for $159. For $139 you could get a base line blu-ray with no wifi and no applications. So I opted for a better one. I also picked up a few blu-ray discs as well. The Dark Knight being one. Seeing it’s immense clarity totally blew me away. I can understand now why folks really really enjoy the blu-ray. I’m anxious to see animation as we purchased Toy Story 2 for my daughter in blu-ray as well as a few “chick flicks” that my wife wanted to see. Some of which is included is netflix, vudu, Pandora Internet Radio, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Associated Press and The New York Times and so many others! The VIZIO VBR220 Blu-ray Player with Wireless Internet Apps delivers full 1080p high-definition video, 7.1 surround sound and connects wirelessly to the Internet to stream movies, TV shows, music and more! This amazing device plays Blu-ray and DVD discs, audio CDs, MP3 and JPEG files from the front USB input. The VBR220 includes built-in 802.11n wireless networking for easy connection to the Internet. Now there have been some reviews that say this

Skype=Multivideo in a week

posted by The Tech Buzz on May.05, 2010, under News

That’s right now we can host 5 from a single skype account. What does this mean? No longer will we need to use vast audio programs or even the complexity that is an audio mixer. It will first come out in beta which will be available during the week of May 10th for download, will initially be free, but apparently skype plans to charge to use the multi party video scheme later on. Now I can see this as a plus for me and will most likely pay assuming there is no lag and that it will accommodate what I need it to do. Rumor has it that it may support HD calling. Until Next time, Keep it Buzzin’
