Hello guys, As many of you know I have recently retired my Mac Mini as my streaming machine to move that to my living room to hook to my Plasma as a media server/movie rental device. I really like the professional video feel giving me 30 FPS. My staff has been after me for awhile to do away with the overlays and switch to high quality video to go with my high quality audio. Apparently now, apple is working with adobe to finally bring flash to the iPhone. One of the reports was to build the iPhone flash specifically for the iPhone. Many people have asked already, why Steve Jobs doesn’t the apple iPhone have flash already? Well that answer is quite simple. Desktop flash is too processor and memory intensive for a smart phone like the iPhone. Now, as reported last week in the new firmware that they are working on a new version of the iPhone code named 2.1 to be released later near summer. Now this is not reported nor anyone else’s thought but my own. I believe that we will not be able to use flash unless we upgrade to the new version or 2.1 version of the iPhone. Simply because its rumored that the new iPhone will be dual processor and have more memory. Now when I say memory I mean virtual memory. Again this is strictly my speculation. So please don’t leave comments saying this is absurd. If you really think about it, apple made the upgrade to the second generation iPhone capable of GPS and 3G. So why not the newer iPhone’s selling point be the flash enabled. I’ll report more when I find out. Anyways, until next time, Keep it buzzin’
