I finally have taken the plunge and have purchased a blu-ray player. Not just any bu-ray player but a Vizio VBR220 Blu-ray Disc Player with Wireless Internet Application. I purchased this at my local walmart for $159. For $139 you could get a base line blu-ray with no wifi and no applications. So I opted for a better one. I also picked up a few blu-ray discs as well. The Dark Knight being one. Seeing it’s immense clarity totally blew me away. I can understand now why folks really really enjoy the blu-ray. I’m anxious to see animation as we purchased Toy Story 2 for my daughter in blu-ray as well as a few “chick flicks” that my wife wanted to see. I think one of the cool features is the touch front interface. Seeing as everything is going touch these days. Also having built in applications. Some of which is included is netflix, vudu, Pandora Internet Radio, Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, Picasa, Associated Press and The New York Times and so many others! The VIZIO VBR220 Blu-ray Player with Wireless Internet Apps delivers full 1080p high-definition video, 7.1 surround sound and connects wirelessly to the Internet to stream movies, TV shows, music and more! This amazing device plays Blu-ray and DVD discs, audio CDs, MP3 and JPEG files from the front USB input. The VBR220 includes built-in 802.11n wireless networking for easy connection to the Internet. Now there have been some reviews that say this

Blu-ray player is only good if you have a dual band router. Myself I can’t test that on a normal router because mine is dual band. I would think most folks that stay up with technology and keep their tech updated will have one as well. A lot of other reviews have stated that Vizio had a bit of false advertising with this stating on the website that it comes with an HDMI cable but the box clearly states it doesn’t. I ask you, what device comes with HDMI cables? Unless they are having a special? For that matter what printers come with a printer cable? So I say don’t let that stop you from purchasing this device. If your looking for the best bang for your buck I would say this would be a good choice. I would also recommend when purchasing a blu-ray device, make sure it has wifi. You may say that you like to keep your gadgets hard wired but you just never know when you need to have yourself like me, running off wifi. Again, I hope you find this informative and interesting as you search out to find the best player for your money. Until next time, Keep it buzzin’

Hey guys I wanted to tell you about this cool new iPhone 4 case sent to me courtesy of the folks over at exogear. If your looking for an iPhone 4 case and aren’t satisfied with the bumpers apple has to offer or some of the other cases that are out there may I suggest the exolife? This is the first case with built in rechargeable battery that I’ve seen that is thin and light weight. Now some of the features the exolife has is its sleek polycarbonate hardshell which protects your iPhone from drops, bumps and scratches. The ExoClear technology eliminates interference with the iPhone antenna. Lithium-ion polymer battery virtually doubles the life of the iPhone. Just to clarify they have a model for the iPhone 3G and 3GS HERE. The batteries capacity is 1500mAh which gives it talk time up to 7 hours, standby up to 300 hours, watch up to 10 hours of video, surf the web up to 6 hours and listen to music up to 40 hours. Which is very impressive. It weighs just 59 grams and measures 2.44 x 5.1 x 0.59 in. It’s available in 2 colors, Black and White and retails at an $89.95 price tag. Some other features it has is the ExoSync which ensures quick, easy, and precise syncing with iTunes. The ExoSave technology automatically turns off the ExoLife when it’s not being used which is a plus. Now I’ve done an un-boxing video and I’m still in the process of testing the device and will give an report here on the blog as well as a video about any short comings I’ve found. Right now 24 hours after receiving it, it seems to be really, really nice. Here is my un-boxing video so you can see it first hand. If you have one of these cases or have thoughts or comments please leave them below. I would love to hear from you. Until next time, Keep it buzzin’
